Background
I have 2 masters degrees: counseling psychology and sociology, and a bachelors degree in anthropology/sociology with emphasis in wellness & alternative medicine. My clinical background includes milieu therapy, harm reduction work, trauma-informed-care and the recovery model of community mental health. I’m a psychoanalyst in training, involved in psychoanalytic formation & praxis for 10 years.
My approach
I work with individuals, families, youth and couples from a variety of orientations, including Freudian/Lacanian psychoanalysis, psychodynamic theory more broadly, and humanistic /existential therapies.
